I’m a man. A real man.

Real men love Halloween. It is an opportunity to get drunk listening to “Purple people eater” two dozen times while women run around wearing the skimpiest outfits they can find. It is a night where scary movie make outs are not only common place but expected.

Unfortunetely for me, I am not doing any of those things. I’m carving jackolanterns and answering the door with candy in my hand. But that’s fun too, so you won’t find me complaining.

Last year around this time I carved a badass COD4 pumpkin with a gas masked soldier on it. My friends told me I should go for another COD themed jack this year since the release of Modern Warfare 2 was so close. They were all out of the really huge pumpkins, but I gave it my best shot. Let me know what you think.

Update: I took another shot with this one. What I thought was the most intense moment (about 1:25 in) of the new Infamy trailer for Modern Warfare 2.

Ever wondered what it would be like to be locked up in a house with three of your buddies, defending against packs of zombies? Prepare to find out!

Details on the newly announced game mode in the Treyarch’s upcoming shooter Call of Duty: World at War were given in yesterdays Gametrailers TV episode. The mode sounds absolutely amazing. There are multiple waves of zombies increasing in numbers. With each wave survived you earn money to purchase more objects to block doors and windows along with bigger better weapons.

There is potential here for a ridiculously addictive game mode. Ah ah ah, not so fast, you’ve gotta beat the campaign mode first. Then it’s bombs away! On zombies faces that is…

Wha? Whe? If you happen to have somehow completely missed all the info all the downloads, here’s a quick rundown. Pull out the booklet included with your copy of Rock Band 2 and check the back page. Use the website and code listed to register yourself for the download. When it’s time, you’ll recieve an email with the marketplace code for the songs.

On a related note, it’s almost halloween which means it’s time for pumpkin carving. And a perfect opportunity to let your neighborhood know you’re a rock star. You can use this pattern I made. It’s pretty detailed so I’d recommend a larger pumpkin, maybe blow the picture up a bit on two pieces of paper. I’ll post a picture as soon as I finish the pumpkin myself.

LATE ADDITION: If you want to carve a pumpkin of your own I’ve decided to add the pattern here, just print it out whatever size you’d like tape it to the pumpkin and poke holes through the black, remove paper, cut out, and enjoy!
